"failure, failure, failure" the words wouldn't stop running through the inquisitor's head. She failed to stop the cultists from opening the gate to the warp in time. She failed to destroy the gate before the denizens on the other side started marching forth. And now she had failed to stop this world from falling to chaos. All ready she could tell her warriors were all but spent. Her helmet's vox; once overflowing with words of inspiration, level headed orders, and declarations of the Emporer's might, was now broadcasting nothing but panic, pitiful cries for aid, and the pray's to the Emporer of men facing their certain doom. Even the arrivale of the greyknights; which at first had given her troops hope for salvation, had failed to turn the tide. Most of their number lay strun across the battlefield; even now she could here the sound of their dreadnought; named brother Johnathan if she remembered correctly, being savagely ripped apart by demonettes. She had lost the chapter nearly fourty knights, a blow to their numbers that could take decades to replace maybe longer. She had failed so utterly; her only hope now was that her vox operator managed to get word to the naval vessels in orbit to begain bombardment before he was killed, but she knew she wasn't leaving this world alive. There was no escape, all around her she could hear their obscene chanting "PORN FOR THE PORN GOD!!!" She tried to shutout the foul words from within her helmet, but now it was even pouring in through her vox unit. This world was lost; her last thought: May the Emperor forgive my failure..." before she threw herself into the mass of chaos filth charging toward her.

Well folks who bother to read this, I'm done with this piece! Hurray!!!! Yes there still plenty to do with it; maybe even several more hours worth of work that could be done, but I've reached the stage of caring I call the "F&#k it stage." Where just like the name sounds, I'm tired of this piece. I have alot of other things to do, and I've spent way, WAY to much time on this one. Maybe at somepoint I'll return to tidyup a few areas here and there, but its not likely to happen for a good while.
